Designing & Building a Mobile Chicken Coop

Join us for a hands-on workshop on designing and building a durable mobile chicken coop suited for both backyard flocks and regenerative pasture-based systems.

Over 3.5 hours, we'll walk step by step through the full design process, including sizing, structural integrity, material selection, ventilation, predator protection, weight distribution, and mobility. You'll see a partially built coop on site and work through the construction logic together so you understand not just how to build it, but why it's built that way.

This class is rooted in our own farm experience raising poultry in North Georgia's climate, from small backyard flocks to pasture rotations.

Whether you're starting with a few hens or planning to scale responsibly, you'll leave with practical clarity and the confidence to build your own.
