Learning that begins with the land
At Bereishis Farm, we believe that learning is meant to be experienced with hands in the soil, feet on the earth, and hearts open to the wonder of creation. Our educational programs invite students, schools, and community groups to explore regenerative farming through a Torah lens — connecting ecological awareness with timeless Jewish values of stewardship, gratitude, and renewal.
On-Farm Experiences. Curated, Hands-On Learning.
Each visit to Bereishis Farm is uniquely designed around the age, goals, and interests of your group. Whether for a class field trip, a youth group, or a community learning day, our programs weave together hands on farm work, reflection, and meaningful discussion. Every experience is curated and personal, helping participants understand not only how food grows, but why tending the land matters.

Off-Site Programs: Bringing the Farm to You
We also offer educational sessions beyond the farm - visiting schools, synagogues, and community centers to teach about regenerative agriculture and its deep ties to Torah life.
Through storytelling, visuals, and hands-on demonstrations, we explore ideas like:
- What it means to be stewards of the earth
- The balance of work and rest reflected in Shabbat and the land
- How gratitude, renewal, and restraint shape our relationship with creation.
Programs are customized for different ages and settings from elementary classrooms to adult learning groups.
